"Two years ago I was looking for help and advice about creating a booklet of information for families on behalf of a group of local schools for whom I work as an Extended Schools Coordinator. I had gathered lots of information together but had very little idea about how to turn my simple Word documents into a professional booklet or how much it would cost!
I contacted Pete Saunders at After Hours Creative, initially just to enquire about his source for printing but his support and advice went far beyond this. With his help, the first edition of The Extend Booklet in 2007 was designed and printed at a very reasonable cost and was very well received by the schools and parents.
I have recently used Pete’s design and print service again for the second edition of The Extend Booklet for schools and families. This year, he has incorporated colour templates and photographs into the layout for me and I am delighted with the finished product.

"For the second year running, After Hours Creative was commissioned by Harborough District Council to design and print a Summer Activity Brochure for the Harborough District. This year it was an A4 32 page full colour brochure. The brief was quite complex, to design a brochure that would be equally attractive for a 5 year old and a 15 year old. Peter amazingly achieved this through the use of images and styles for the relevant age groups. With a tight timescale, all deadlines were met, and the final delivery of all 16,000 brochures even arriving a day early! I knew that I wanted to use photographs to build a collage around the title "A Century of Memories", but your idea of merging them together into the ornate frames, and separating the monochrome from the modern' worked really well. "The Play Day went extremely well. We had good news coverage from both the Mail, and HFM. The park was packed and I was so tied up at my Play Ranger pitch that I hardly had a chance to look around – but everyone who participated had only good things to say, and parents came up to me to tell me how much they’d enjoyed it.
